Background Information on Regional Relief and Recovery Fund (RRRF).
Welcome to PacifiCan’s Regional Relief and Recovery Fund (RRRF).
- As part of Canada’s COVID-19 Economic Response Plan, the RRRF assisted businesses and organizations across Canada to mitigate financial pressures caused by the pandemic.
- The Government of Canada provided over $2 billion to help keep people employed, and to sustain employers for recovery — 25% of which is earmarked for the struggling tourism sector.
- Almost $865 million of RRRF funding was allocated to Western Canada.
- This expanded funding allowed the RRRF to continue to be a backstop for eligible applicants, mirroring the support offered by other federal support programs as they evolve to meet the needs of businesses.
