Support for entrepreneurs with a disability
PacifiCan provides funding to the Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program (EDP). The EDP is delivered by Community Futures British Columbia.
Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program
The Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program helps entrepreneurs with disabilities start, maintain or grow a business in British Columbia. The EDP provides services through Community Futures British Columbia (CFBC).
What kinds of services are offered
The EDP offers the following services:
- Business advising
- Business coaching
- Business development training
- Support accessing capital through Community Futures offices in B.C.
Who could benefit from this support
You could benefit from support through the EDP if you are an entrepreneur who:
- has a self-declared permanent or long-term disability, or an episodic condition
- experiences substantial functional limitations (e.g., through a neurodiverse condition or physical, sensory, intellectual or developmental disability)
- faces barriers accessing standard business development supports
