Government of Canada to announce support for COVID-19 safe voluntary isolation site for Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District

April 14, 2021, Sault Ste. Marie, ON – Terry Sheehan, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Economic Development and Official Languages, on behalf of the Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Health, will announce support towards a safe voluntary isolation site for residents of Sault Ste. Marie and Algoma District.
He will be joined by Christian Provenzano, Mayor of Sault Ste. Marie, Mike Nadeau, CEO, District of Sault Ste. Marie Social Services Administration Board and Dr. Jennifer Loo, Acting Medical Officer of Health and CEO, Algoma Public Health.
There will be a media availability immediately following the announcement.
