Government of Canada to announce funding to support physical activity for newcomers arriving to Canada

Taleeb Noormohamed, Member of Parliament for Vancouver Granville, on behalf of the Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Health, will announce funding for a project that supports increased physical activity and healthy living for immigrant populations in Vancouver, Toronto and Halifax.

March 21, 2022, Vancouver, BC – Taleeb Noormohamed, Member of Parliament for Vancouver Granville, on behalf of the Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Health, will announce funding for a project that supports increased physical activity and healthy living for immigrant populations in Vancouver, Toronto and Halifax.

MP Noormohamed will be joined by representatives from the Immigrant Services Society of BC and its community partners.

There will be a media Q&A session immediately following the announcement.
