Transition to the Vaccine Impact Assistance Program
PHAC is updating approaches to data collection and reporting under the Vaccine Impact Assistance Program.
We'll publish updated statistics for the program in the coming months.
As part of the transition, PHAC received information from multiple data sources from the former third-party administrator, including over 350,000 documents for ongoing and completed claims under the former Vaccine Injury Support Program.
Approximately 2,000 existing applications will be reviewed and processed under the Vaccine Impact Assistance Program.
