My name is Janis, I’m 24 years old, and I caught COVID-19.

It’s really hard on the body, and it can have really long-lasting effects, even when you’re not sick anymore.

I started getting a runny nose and the more the evening was going, the more I had a headache. And when I got home I got lower back pain, really bad lower back pain.

I started getting dizzy. By the night, I got really bad insomnia. I couldn’t sleep, but I wasn’t feeling well, so all I wanted to do was sleep at that moment.

I did the test, and the next day the results came in and they were positive.

The instructions that I got from my work was to stay home. And also Public Health. When they called, they said it was really important to stay inside.

My partner and I live together in a condo. And eventually, my partner got sick, really high fever, vomiting, he couldn’t eat, he was really cold, and his fever wasn’t going down.

So he could not go out of the house so we got family members to come and give us food and necessities.

But I was afraid to give it to them, even if they weren’t coming inside.

I know that my partner caught it from me “cause I was sick first, and I felt really, really bad about it.

Even though I am not sick anymore today, I still have a problem with my breathing.

My perspective on COVID-19 changed since I got infected “cause I know everybody can get sick, no matter what age they are.

I’m 24, and it hit me very hard.
