List of upper receivers: for businesses
The following upper receivers were classified as prohibited devices under the Criminal Code in May 2020.
The deadline for businesses to submit claims was June 4, 2026. Businesses can no longer create new accounts or submit claims. Please note that payment of compensation is dependent on the successful completion of all required firearm validations. See details about the program's compensation model.
See Businesses (except those with required registration certificates and specific privileges on their licence) must safely dispose of or permanently deactivate their assault-style firearms before the amnesty period expires, or risk criminal liability for the illegal possession of a prohibited firearm.
Any firearms, upper receivers or parts and components turned in through the program that are not eligible will be destroyed without compensation.
