Compensation amounts for businesses

Find all firearms (including lower receivers) and upper receivers prohibited in May 2020, December 2024 or March 2025 as well as associated parts and components eligible for the Assault-Style Firearms Compensation Program (ASFCP). The lists include compensation amounts for businesses.

The deadline for businesses to submit claims was June 4, 2026. Businesses can no longer create new accounts or submit claims. Please note that payment of compensation is dependent on the successful completion of all required firearm validations.

Businesses (except those with required registration certificates and specific privileges on their licence) must safely dispose of or permanently deactivate their assault-style firearms before the amnesty period expires, or risk criminal liability for the illegal possession of a prohibited firearm.

Any firearms (including lower receivers), upper receivers or parts and components turned in through the program that are not eligible will be destroyed without compensation.
