The Privacy Act provides you with a right of access to personal information about yourself that is held by Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC). Submit a new personal information request or request a correction to your personal information.

Submit a personal information request
You can submit a request to access your personal information held by PSPC online or by mail.
If your request relates to another federal government institution, consult the list of access to information and privacy coordinators.

You may either:
- complete a personal information request form (TBC/CTC 350-58)
- send a letter by mail, email or fax that clearly explains what records you are seeking
What to include with your personal information request
- Your name, street address and, if possible, a daytime telephone number to allow the Access to Information and Privacy Directorate employees to contact you during business hours (an employee may call you for further questions or to update your request status)
- As many details about your request as possible
Receive your information by Connect
PSPC releases requested documents electronically via Connect.
Since January 2019, PSPC ATIP Directorate offers requesters a faster way to receive responses submitted under the Access to Information and Privacy Acts. Connect is a service that allows you to receive documents digitally in a safe, secure and timely manner with no cost to you.
Create your free account now by visiting Connect. Once your account is created, send us an email at: aiprp.atip@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca to let us know that you wish to receive your request through Connect and, include your request number and the email address linked to your Connect account.
If you already have an Connect account and wish to receive your response by Connect, please include your Connect email address in the email address field when submitting your Access to Information and Privacy online request.
Connect is a cloud-based online portal that provides access to documents in a safe and secure environment, as required under the Canada Post Corporation Act and the Criminal Code of Canada. This means that your identity and any information being shared with our office remain secure, and that your privacy rights under the Privacy Act are respected at all times.
Request a correction to personal information
If you believe there are errors or omissions to your personal information that PSPC has on file, you may request corrections of the content of this information. This service is free of charge.

What to include with your request
- Your name, street address and, if possible, a daytime telephone number to allow the Access to Information and Privacy Directorate employees to contact you during business hours (an employee may call you for further questions or to update your request status)
- As many details about your request as possible, including the information bank number and title associated with your request (consult the latest publication of Info Source to find details about the various personal information banks at PSPC)
