What do we buy
Public Services and Procurement Canada seeks to establish a NMSO for the government of Canada departments, agencies, Crown corporations, and organizations participating in the Canadian Collaborative Procurement Initiative (CCPI) across Canada. This NMSO includes those located in Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement (CLCA) areas.
Only accredited law enforcement organizations will be authorized to make purchases under this NMSO.
This NMSO will be for the supply and delivery of Ethyl Alcohol Standard Solution, on an as-and-when requested basis.
The Ethyl Alcohol Standard Solution is a wet bath solution. It is used in conjunction with NMSO E60PV-25ABAI Approved Breath Analysis Instrument for official evidentiary testing in impaired driving investigations. As such, their results are admissible in court and form a critical part of the legal process.
How do we buy
- The Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) will be a competitive process
- Canada may issue 1 standing offer (SO) for a fixed period of 9 years from date of award
- Offerors must provide a fixed, all-inclusive price for the first year
- The qualification process will include samples to be evaluated against the mandatory technical criteria
- Canada intends to award one SO to the lowest priced offeror that meets all mandatory technical criteria
