Program Account

The program account number consists of the tax program account type and the sequence number identifier for the account.

• RE – Excise Tax Act
• RD – Excise Tax
• RN – Insurance Premiums (Excise Tax Act)
• RG – Air Travellers Security Charge

Endorsement

An Endorsement is a legislative specification of a product or service that is monitored or controlled.

Each Endorsement relates to the activity of a company.

Endorsement Status

Endorsement Status indicates the state or standing of the client. The applicable endorsement statuses are:

• Active
• Pending Cancellation
• Cancelled
• Suspended

Status Effective Date

The Endorsement Status effective date indicates the date the endorsement became effective for this client.

Filing Frequency

The Filing Frequency is the type of frequency by which an obligation to file a return may be satisfied. The applicable filing frequencies are:

• monthly
• quarterly
• semi-annual
• annual
• seasonal
• customized periods

Please note that all filing frequencies are not applicable to all endorsement types.
