Reducing your EI premiums

If you are an employer who provides your employees with disability coverage for short-term illness or injury, you may be eligible for a reduction in your EI premium rate.

Supplemental unemployment benefits program

If you are an employer who provides your employees with a supplement to the EI benefits received in cases of temporary stoppage of work, training or illness you must register your plan with the Supplemental Unemployment Benefit (SUB) Program.
