Engagement on the Renewed National Strategy to Combat Human Trafficking

From: Public Safety Canada

Current Status: Open

Public Safety Canada is undertaking consultations to inform the development of a renewed National Strategy to Combat Human Trafficking.

From Summer 2024 to January 2025, sessions will be held to promote open discussion between the Government of Canada, victims and survivors, law enforcement, provinces and territories, Indigenous groups, and private sector and civil society stakeholders involved in anti-human trafficking efforts both within Canada and internationally. These sessions will provide an opportunity to identify gaps, emerging issues, and trends to be addressed through a renewed national strategy. Targeted stakeholders will also be emailed a questionnaire seeking input.
