Every time you check the weather, cross the border or apply for federal benefits, SSC is there behind the scenes. Interested? Join SSC to work on digital solutions (50 networks, 500+ data centres) for more than 400,000 users across the Government of Canada and other crucial projects, such as more than 12,000 apps that serve Canadians.

Opportunities for students

• Apply to the Federal Student Work Experience Program (FSWEP) student inventory. This increases your chances of being matched with a job opportunity
  • Some jobs and student programs are only available to individuals who have self-declared as members of an employment equity group. When applying for a job, you may indicate (self-declare) whether you identify as a woman, Indigenous person, member of a visible minority, or person with a disability. • Ask your school’s co-op/internship program coordinator about work opportunities with the public service (or our department) or to introduce your school to our Post-Secondary Co-op/Internship Program
