The purpose of this information bulletin is to inform you that the members of the National Health Union (NHU) have agreed to merge with the Union of Environment Workers (UEW). The new Component will be named the Union of Health and Environment Workers (UHEW). The merge will be complete at PSAC by .
Please note that UHEW’s portion of the union dues rate will decrease from 0.5709% to 0.5% effective .
Once this information is updated in the pay system, members will see an adjustment in their dues.
Any employee enquiries regarding these membership dues changes are to be directed to the Public Service Alliance of Canada.
