This allocation was necessary to meet immediate requirements for: the Afghan National Army Trust Fund, in support of Canada’s commitment to help sustain the Afghan National Defence and Security Forces; the United Nations Development Program’s Funding Facility for Immediate Stabilization, to deliver fast-track support in areas in Iraq recently liberated from Daesh; and the United Nations Department of Political Affairs, to help support efforts to broker a political settlement to the conflict in Syria and to enhance the capacity of the UN to lead conflict mediation and peace implementation efforts. |

Subject to the approval of the Treasury Board, to supplement other appropriations that may need to be partially or fully funded as a result of adjustments made to terms and conditions of service or employment of the federal public administration, including members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the Canadian Armed Forces, Governor in Council appointees and Crown corporations as defined in section 83 of the Financial Administration Act. Permanent allocations from TB Vote 15 will be given to organizations upon release of Supply for Supplementary Estimates (B), 2016–17.
