Women and Gender Equality Canada is committed to protecting individuals’ privacy rights and safeguarding the personal information under its control.
“Personal information” is defined as any information, in any form, about an identifiable individual; refer to section 3 of the Privacy Act for further details regarding personal information.
Personal information is collected under the authority of the Department for Women and Gender Equality Act, subsection 4(3), and in accordance with the Communications Policy of the Government of Canada.
You have the right to the protection of, access to, and request a correction and/or notation of your personal information, which is described in Personal Information Bank: Evaluation PSU 914. You also have a right to complain to the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you feel your personal information has been handled improperly.
