MOSID 00137 - Imagery Technician (IMAGE TECH)

General Duties:

IMAGE TECH are to: take photographs; prepare and present multi media briefs; and maintain, calibrate and inspect imagery equipment.

MOSID Related Duties

1. Work continuous rotating 8 hour shifts with periods of up to 20 hr in tactical or emergency conditions. X X X

3. Carry one end of sea stretcher bearing a 90kg load up and down ships ladder. X X X
4. Work extended periods in confined spaces (up to 30 days four times a year at sea). X X X
5. Climb scaffolding, ladders, aircraft structures etc to heights in excess of 15 m. X X X
6. Work around aircraft in extremely noisy and potentially dangerous conditions. X X X
7. Remain alert up to 20 hours a day under combat conditions. X X X
8. Climb onto and off aircraft structures and tracked vehicles repeatedly. X X X

12. Drive wheeled vehicles in low / no light conditions and endure up to 4 hours sitting while jarring or bumping on cross-country travel. X X X
