MOSID 00261 - Air Weapons System Technician (AWS TECH)

General Duties:

AWS Techs shall perform duties related to the operation, servicing, repair, maintenance and inspection of aircraft, aviation related systems and support functions as well as duties peculiar to work in and around ammunition and explosives. To be able to carry out his/her duties on land, at sea and onboard airborne aircraft, the AWS Tech must be able to perform to all of the Generic Task Statements – All CAF Members located in the A-MD-154-000/FP-000 Annex B. As well, the following Table details the specific MES related duties for an AWS Tech at an applicable rank:
