MOSID 00303 - Electrical Generation Systems Technician (EGS TECH)
General Duties:
EGS Techs install, operate and maintain portable generating systems. They install, operate, maintain and repair all high and low voltage electrical and ancilliary systems in power plants, rotary and static uninterruptable power systems and line conditioners etc. They overhaul engines and related components connected to Engineer equipment (ie Arrestor Equipment, Portable Airfield Lighting systems, ROWPUs etc.) Duties are performed on Bases and Wings and in isolated locations with deployed forces.
