MOSID 00343 - Non Destructive Testing Technician (NDT)

General Duties:

NDT Technicians shall perform duties related to the operation, servicing, repair, maintenance and inspection of aircraft as well as duties of performing Non Destructive Testing inspection for Canadian Forces aircraft and support equipment in order to detect, analyze and report on the structural integrity of aircraft components. To be able to carry out his/her duties the NDT TECH must be able to perform to all of the Generic Task Statements – All CAF Members located in the A-MD-154-000/FP-000 Annex B. As well, the following Table details the specific MES related duties for an NDT Tech at an applicable rank:
