MOSID 00370 - Drafting and Survey Technicians (DS TECH)
General Duties:
Drafting and Survey Technicians possess the knowledge and skills necessary to perform numerous tasks within the occupation including:
- Manual and electronic survey;
- Establish horizontal and vertical construction control points;
- Produce Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) and manual drawings of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical drawings;
- Sketches; and
- Interpret Designs and Specifications.
These tasks are performed on Bases and Wings and in isolated locations with deployed forces.
