MOSID 00370 - Drafting and Survey Technicians (DS TECH)

Drafting and Survey Technicians possess the knowledge and skills necessary to perform numerous tasks within the occupation including:

Manual and electronic survey;
Establish horizontal and vertical construction control points;
Produce Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) and manual drawings of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical drawings;
Sketches; and
Interpret Designs and Specifications.

These tasks are performed on Bases and Wings and in isolated locations with deployed forces.
