What to do if you suspect a pay issue

Did you notice something unusual with your pay? If you think you have a pay issue, there are steps you can take to fix it.
Before you report a pay issue:
- Review and understand your pay stub—small differences in your pay may be due to changes in deductions, tax rates, contributions rates, and more.
- Investigate your pay issue:
- Log in to MyGCPay (accessible only on the National Defence network) or MyGCPay external access.
- Review the “Cases and Enquiries” section to find out if a case exists, and if its status is open, in progress or closed.
- If there is an open case, the Pay Centre may already be reviewing your case.
If a case does not exist, report your pay issue by following the steps on the Fix your pay issue (accessible only on the National Defence network) intranet page .
