About the school
The Canadian Forces Logistics Training Centre (CFLTC) was inaugurated 1 September 1967, as a result of the integration of the Canadian Armed Forces. The school was formed from a number of single service schools, namely HMCS Hochelaga Fleet School in Montreal, the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps in Borden, the Royal Canadian Army Pay Wing in Barriefield, the Royal Canadian Air Force Food Services School in Clinton, and elements of the former Royal Canadian Air Force Support Services School in Borden. In April 1968, the Royal Canadian Ordinance Corps School and the Canadian Armed Forces Packaging School in Montréal became part of the new unified school.
The Canadian Forces Logistics Training Centre aims to pursue excellence by leveraging innovation, technologies and partnerships to professionalize training at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels in support of the strategic priorities provided from higher command. The school’s mission is to deliver relevant, effective, and modernized training in order to produce well disciplined, technically sound, and operationally focussed non-commissioned members, officers, and civilian defence partners with a view to enable operational success.
