Help us choose a new name for the Sexual Misconduct Support and Resource Centre
The Sexual Misconduct Support and Resource Centre (SMSRC) is expanding its mandate.
Most recently, the SMSRC has been entrusted with designing and delivering Restorative Engagement on Systemic Racism, which is part of the Canadian Armed Forces Systemic Racism Class Action Final Settlement.
The SMSRC will also be planning to offer support services for people affected by racism. In the first phase, services will be available to current and former members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and Veterans. In the second phase, we will expand to support other client groups affected by racism. These new responsibilities are supported by additional resources, allowing the organization to broaden the reach and range of its services while continuing to uphold its commitment to those affected by sexual misconduct.
To reflect this broader, more inclusive mandate, we’re looking for a new name.
We want to know what you think and we are asking for your input.
