Occupational health examinations
Dental examinations
All statutory or regulatory mandated occupational dental examinations are covered. These include, but are not limited to:
- dental condition on enrolment examination;
- periodic dental examinations;
- overseas dental examinations;
- isolation dental examinations;
- aircrew dental examinations;
- diving dental examinations;
- submariner dental examinations; and
- pre-deployment dental examinations.
Health examinations
All statutory or regulatory mandated occupational health examinations will be covered.
- These will include, but are not limited to:
- recruit medical examinations;
- periodic medical examinations;
- overseas medical examinations;
- isolation medical examinations;
- aircrew medical examinations;
- diving medical examinations;
- submariner medical examinations;
- food handlers medical examinations;
- release medical examinations;
- pre-deployment medical examinations;
- post-deployment medical examinations;
- pre-incarceration medical examinations; and
- medical category reviews;
- Periodic audiogram screening in conjunction with PHA;
- Screening for pulmonary function, at the direction of the local medical authority;
- Other such diagnostic, diagnostic imaging, or laboratory procedures as may be mandated by the local medical authority;
- Radiological survey of personnel exposed to dysbaric environment;
- Examination of personnel exposed to hazardous environments, including but not limited to:
- Lead exposure;
- Isocyanate Exposure;
- Polychlorinated Biphenyls;
- Otto Fuel;
- Radioactive Material; and
- Radioactive Luminous Compounds.
- Immunization programs; and
- Occupational vision care including:
- contact lenses for the correction of vision, and repairs to them, when required for operational duties and when authorized by the HCC;
- safety eyeglasses that are necessary for the correction of vision, and repairs to them, when authorized by the local medical authority;
- respirator eyeglasses that are necessary for the correction of vision, and repairs to them, when required for operational duties and when authorized by the local medical authority; and
- sunglasses that are necessary for the correction of vision, and repairs to them, when required for operational duties and when authorized by the local medical authority.
