[00:00:31] Canadian forces morale and welfare services have existed in one form or another for over a hundred years. Our job is to ensure that Canadian Armed Forces members whether serving or retired and their families are equipped to overcome the unique challenges of military life with services offered to a community of over 1 million people. We are the hub of life on bases wings and in deployed regions providing fitness recreational retail financial and social support. Morale and welfare services are delivered through five major divisions electronics clothing groceries restaurants vending machines and other retail services operate through CANEX financial services such as life insurance RRSPs and financial planning counseling and education are provided through SISIP fitness sports recreation health promotion newspapers and messes administration are provided in Canada and around the world through personnel support programs. More commonly known as PSP military family services through their support of military family resource centers in Canada the United States and Europe help maintain the strength and resilience of our families return to work peer support and other readaptation services for those who are injured or ill are provided through casualty support management and the Joint Personnel Support Units. Each division has unique responsibilities but they work together to provide a seamless experience focused on ensuring that our community members maximize their potential at work and home.

[00:02:22] There are other unique programs offered by CF morale and welfare services like Canadian defense community banking which offers discounted banking and special benefits such as the integrated relocation program mortgage and there's the CF appreciation program which provides discounts from a wide range of commercial partners on a variety of goods and services from new vehicles to recreation attractions travel and vacation accommodations around the globe. Proceeds earned from our members use of Canadian forces morale and welfare services are reinvested to support the military community. Everyday Canadians also contribute to the cause. Their donations to a variety of funds including military families hospital comforts soldier on Operation Santa Claus and personnel assistance helped to provide a range of supports that address the demands of military duty. Canadians also contribute by purchasing Yellow Ribbon merchandise using the support our troops MasterCard and attending fundraising events. Businesses of all sizes also help out by sponsoring events and by participating in the CF appreciation program.
