ESDC Sustainable development

Sustainable development strategies are key elements of the Government of Canada's approach to sustainable development: the means to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. These strategies communicate the ways in which Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) integrates the principles of sustainable development in its programs, policies and operations and supports the federal government in meeting its commitment to sustainable development.
