This consultation ran from November 24, 2025 to December 19, 2025.
Employment and Social Development Canada launched a national engagement on youth employment to gather insights on the challenges facing young people in today's job market. These insights will help provide the Government of Canada with critical perspectives directly from Canadians, including youth, on this important topic.
These efforts are part of a broader set of initiatives and investments already in place. We are now analyzing the feedback received and it will help inform a path forward.
Who was the focus of this consultation
The Government of Canada heard from various members of the public, including young Canadians, as well as stakeholders and partners with experience and knowledge about youth in the labour market.
