Red Seal Completion Bonus

As part of the Team Canada Strong initiative, journeypersons who complete an apprenticeship and obtain certification in one of the eligible Red Seal trades designated within their province or territory will be able to apply for a $5,000 completion bonus. Journeypersons can receive the Bonus for each designated Red Seal trade in which they completed an apprenticeship and received certification, up to a maximum of $50,000. Anyone who completed an eligible Red Seal certification on or after April 1, 2025 can apply for the Bonus.

Funding amount:

Eligible journeypersons can receive $5,000 per Red Seal Certification obtained on or after April 1, 2025.

Who can apply:

Journeypersons who complete an apprenticeship and obtain certification in one of the eligible Red Seal trades designated within their province or territory.
