What this program offers
The Red Seal Completion Bonus (the Bonus) is a $5,000 payment for eligible journeypersons who complete an apprenticeship training program and receive certification in a designated Red Seal trade.
The Bonus recognizes your achievement and helps support your transition into the skilled trades workforce. You can receive the Bonus for each designated Red Seal trade in which you complete an apprenticeship and receive certification.
Red Seal trades meet national standards that makes it easier for certified tradespeople to work across Canada.
You can check if a trade is a designated Red Seal trade by reviewing the list of trades on the Interprovincial Standards Red Seal Program website.
