Dr. Ram Yerubandi: Research Scientist and Research Manager

Dr. Ram Yerubandi has worked with Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) for 22 years as a Research Scientist and Research Manager. Specializing in Water Science and Technology, Ram works closely with the Meteorological Service of Canada. Throughout his career, Ram has had the opportunity to lead and collaborate with many people both nationally and internationally.

Ram’s most memorable experiences during his 22-year career at ECCC include his time spent on field campaigns in different parts of the country as a Research Scientist. He has played a significant role in numerous scientific advancements, each contributing to the protection and conservation of our lakes and watersheds.

Whether that be the prediction of water quality and developing nutrient targets in the Great Lakes, or advancing lake models to allow for numerical weather prediction, Ram is always looking forward to new challenges.
