Chloromethyl methyl ether is a colourless liquid with an "irritating" odour (Verschueren, 1983). Information provided in response to a Notice published under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 indicates that chloromethyl methyl ether is not currently used or produced in Canada.
