The draft Guidance Document: Safety of Sperm and Ova Regulations provides information on the interpretation and application of the Safety of Sperm and Ova Regulations which are made under the Assisted Human Reproduction Act. The regulations were published in Canada Gazette, Part II on June 26, 2019.
In addition to the regulations, the draft guidance document also provides an Assisted Human Reproduction Act interpretation of the Health Canada Directive: Technical Requirements for Conducting the Suitability Assessment of Sperm and Ova Donors.
