Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) acknowledges growing concerns among Canadians about the use of pesticides to control large predators and the unintended effects on non-target animals. The PMRA is consulting Canadians on how the humaneness of pesticides to control predators could be considered during the approval and use of pesticides.
