Consultation on Pesticide Cost Recovery

Notice to the reader:

The online consultation is now closed. Comments and suggestions received during the public consultation period are being considered in the finalization of this document. The final report will be made available as soon as possible.

The Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) invites stakeholders and the public to submit written comments on Pesticide Cost Recovery Consultation, A Consultation Document in Advance of Parliamentary Proposal.

This consultation document was created to provide you with an opportunity to review the proposed new cost recovery regime, and to consider how it might affect you as a registrant, a user, a supplier, or a member of the public. This document outlines the regulatory requirements for establishing user fees, a rationale for fee increases, the proposed changes to fees and regulatory charges, and an overview of spending priorities. We welcome and encourage your feedback, and will consider it in the on-going development of our proposal to Parliament.
