Consultation on Phosmet, Proposed Re evaluation Decision PRVD2017-07

The Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) invites the public to submit written comments on the proposed re-evaluation decision for phosmet. Proposed Re-evaluation Decision PRVD2017-07 is a consultation document that summarizes the science evaluation for phosmet and presents the reasons for the proposed decision. The PMRA will consider any comments received. A science-based approach will be applied in making a final decision on phosmet.

This consultation is open for comment from 30 June 2017 to 28 September 2017 (90 calendar days). Open the "Consultation Summary" to access the document.

Interested parties are encouraged to provide comments and suggestions by 28 September 2017.

Reporting to Canadians

Health Canada will make the results of this consultation available on this website. Once the decision on phosmet is finalized, the PMRA will post a Re-evaluation Decision on the Pesticides and Pest Management Reports and Publications portion of Health Canada's website.
