Archived Lists under the Interim Order Respecting Drugs, Medical Devices and Foods for a Special Dietary Purpose in Relation to COVID-19

Health Canada published new amendments to the Food and Drug Regulations in Canada Gazette, Part II on September 1, 2021. These will create a permanent pathway for the exceptional importation and sale of foreign-authorized drugs and medical devices into Canada in response to a shortage. These regulations entered into force on March 2, 2022. For more information, read the Notice of regulations amending certain regulations concerning drugs and medical devices (shortages).
