Amendment to the Agreement for Canada-British Columbia Co-operation on Immigration - 2004

Between:

The GOVERNMENT OF CANADA as represented by the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration Canada (herein after referred to as “Canada”).

And:

The GOVERNMENT OF BRITISH COLUMBIA as represented by the Minister of Community, Aboriginal and Women’s Services (herein after referred to as “British Columbia”).

WHEREAS Canada and British Columbia entered into an Agreement for Canada-British Columbia Co-operation on Immigration - 2004 dated April 5, 2004 (the “Agreement”);

AND WHEREAS pursuant to section 11.5 (d) of the Agreement, the Agreement may be amended by the mutual written consent of Canada and British Columbia;

NOW THEREFORE the parties hereby agree to amend the Agreement as follows:

  1. Annex G to the Agreement is to be deleted in its entirety and replaced with the Annex G attached hereto as Schedule A; and
  2. This amendment is to be effective as of the 15th day of June, 2005.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF this amendment has been signed by Canada and British Columbia on the dates written below.
