The instructions on temporary resident permits [R298 and A24(1)] have been updated to remove a reference to impaired driving and driving under the influence (DUI) under the heading “Fee exemptions for foreign nationals who are inadmissible on criminality grounds”. Since Bill C 46 came into force, impaired driving has been classified as a serious offence.
