Nationals of Myanmar are exempt from the 12-month bar if their Immigration and Refugee Board or previous pre-removal risk assessment decision was made between May 8, 2020 and May 7, 2021, inclusive. Nationals of Myanmar with a decision made after May 7, 2021, are subject to the 12-month bar.
