Program delivery update: Exemption for nationals of Afghanistan to the bar on applying for a pre-removal risk assessment

Nationals of Afghanistan are exempt from the 12-month bar if their Immigration and Refugee Board or previous pre-removal risk assessment decision was made between October 19th, 2020 and October 18th, 2021, inclusive. Nationals of Afghanistan with a decision made after October 18th, 2021, are subject to the 12-month bar.
