IRCC has introduced a pathway to permanent residence for extended family members of Afghans who worked for or assisted the Government of Canada or the Canadian Armed Forces and who immigrated to Canada under one of the previous public policies implemented in 2009 and 2012.
The application process opened on December 9, 2021.
