How to get a police certificate – Barbados

You can apply

• online
• by mail
• in person at the Central Police Station

The certificate can be mailed to you if needed.

You should include:

• your full name and any previous names
• most recent address in Barbados
• date and place of birth
• a photo identity card
• the applicable fees

You can apply in person at:

You can apply online, by mail or in person, or someone can submit the written request on your behalf to the Central Police Station. The police clearance can be mailed to you or given in person.

You should include:

• your full name and any previous names
• most recent address in Barbados
• date and place of birth
• a copy of a photo identity card or passport
• a full set of fingerprints taken by a recognized police authority
• the applicable fees – $20 (BBD) or $10 (USD)
  • money order or certified cheque made payable to the Commissioner of Police
• a self-addressed envelope (if you want the police clearance to be mailed back to you)
