How to get a police certificate – Burkina Faso
If you need to give your fingerprints for a police certificate, this isn’t the same as giving your biometrics (fingerprints and photo) for an application.

Bulletin no. 3 for residents
Attestation de non poursuite judiciaire (Certificate of non-prosecution) for non-residents
Police certificate and IRCC requirements
You must provide a police certificate when you apply for:
- permanent residence
- citizenship
- some temporary residence programs

How to apply
Apply online at the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, responsible for relations with institutions or you can apply in person at a Tribunal de grande instance depending if you are a national or a foreign national and pay the fee of 500 Fcfa for nationals and 2200 Fcfa for foreign nationals.
