How to get a police certificate – Cabo Verde
If you need to give your fingerprints for a police certificate, this isn’t the same as giving your biometrics (fingerprints and photo) for an application.

- permanent residence
- citizenship
- some temporary residence programs

How to apply
You need either your
- national identity card
- citizen card or
- passport
You can apply at the Judicial Police of Cabo Verde in Praia, Cabo Verde.
The fee is CVE$400.
If you’re a foreign national, submit your application through the Cabo Verde embassy nearest to you.
