How to Get a Police Certificate – The Comoros Islands

If you need to give your fingerprints for a police certificate, this isn’t the same as giving your biometrics (fingerprints and photo) for an application.

How to get a Police Certificate:

If you are a citizen of The Comoros Islands:

If you live in The Comoros Islands:

You must apply in person to the “Tribunal de première instance” of Moroni if you are from Grande Comoros (see Special notes and considerations for complete address). You must bring:

  • Your original birth certificate
  • Your original passport
  • Your father’s full name and your mother’s maiden and married names
  • Place of residence in Comoros
  • Applicable fees

If you live outside of The Comoros Islands:

You must apply to the “Tribunal de première instance” of Moroni if you are from Grande Comoros (see Special notes and considerations for complete address). You must bring:

  • Copy of your birth certificate
  • Copy of your passport
  • Your father’s full name and your mother’s maiden and married names
  • Place of residence while in Comoros
  • Applicable fees
