How to Get a Police Certificate – Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)

If you need to give your fingerprints for a police certificate, this isn’t the same as giving your biometrics (fingerprints and photo) for an application.

How to get a Police Certificate:

If you are a citizen of DRC:

If you live in DRC:

You should apply in person to the Direction Générale de la Police Judiciaire (see Special notes and considerations for complete address).

If you live outside of DRC:

You should apply in person at your nearest Democratic Republic of Congo embassy.

Once the embassy has verified your documents, you must send your request by mail to the Direction Générale de la Police Judiciaire (see Special notes and considerations for complete address).
