How to get a police certificate – Iran

Applying for permanent residence
You must provide a police certificate when you apply for permanent residence in Canada.
You will also be requested to provide a police certificate to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) if you declared a criminal record on your application for an electronic travel authorization, work permit or study permit.
How to apply
If you live in Iran:
You can apply in person at a police+10 centre.
You can apply online via the Sana System which is not available outside of Iran.
If you live outside of Iran:
You may apply at your nearest Iranian embassy.
For Iranians who live in Canada:
Go to a police station in your hometown of Canada and get a digital fingerprint or in a high-quality, high-resolution hand-held manner so that the fingerprints are perfectly visible.

The police certificate is valid for translation for one month from the date of issue.
The official translation can only be verified by Ministry of Justice and Foreign Affairs with the original document.
The approval from Foreign Affairs is not possible without the approval seal of the judiciary.
