Check your application package or instructions for details.

If you live in Iran
You can apply
- in person at a police+10 center

- This page won’t work outside of Iran.
If you live outside of Iran
Apply at your nearest Iranian embassy.
If you’re an Iranian living in Canada
Due to the closure of the Iranian embassy in Canada, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Iran has provided an alternative to applying for a certificate of no criminal record (available in Persian only).
Special considerations
The police certificate must be translated within 1 month of being issued.
The official translation can only be verified by the Ministry of Justice and Foreign Affairs with the original document.
You can’t get approval from Foreign Affairs without the approval seal of the judiciary.
