How to get a police certificate - Liberia
If you need to give your fingerprints for a police certificate, this isn’t the same as giving your biometrics (fingerprints and photo) for an application.

How to get a Police Certificate:
If you are a citizen of Liberia:
If you live in Liberia:
You can apply in person at the Liberia National Police Headquarters (Records and Identification Section) at the Charles B. Alfonso Cain Building, Capital Hill in Monrovia.
You must provide:
- One letter of support from a community leader
- One letter of support from the community police station
- One Passport sized photograph
- Certified copy of your passport bio-page
If you live outside Liberia:
You can:
- return to Liberia and apply in person at the National Police Headquarters (Records and identification Section) at the Charles B. Alfonso Cain Building, Capital Hill in Monrovia, or
- ask a friend or relative in Liberia to bring the required information to the National Police Headquarters on your behalf.
You must provide:
- Biographic information
- Fingerprints taken by a recognized police authority in the country of residence
